Amplitude Sync to Drive and Sheets

  • Updated

The Amplitude Sync to Drive and Sheets extension allows you to export chart data to Google Sheets and chart images to Google Slides with a click of a button.

You can find it on Google Workspace Marketplace: Amplitude Sync to Drive and Sheets.

NOTE: Amplitude Sync to Drive and Sheets extension is currently unavailable for EU-based Organizations (ex.: https://analytics.eu.amplitude.com/yourorganization/).

Amplitude Sync to Sheets

1. Once the extension is installed, you should be able to find “Amplitude Sync to Drive and Sheets” under Extensions in your Google Sheets. Click Start Exporting Amplitude Data.

2. A module will appear on the right panel where you can sign in with Google.

NOTE: Make sure to access your Google Sheets instance with the same email that you use to log in to your Amplitude account. If your emails do not match, you won’t be able to export data from that Organization.

3. Give Amplitude access to your Google Sheets (and/or Google Slides) instance.

4. Now, you can select which Organization to import data from and a list of charts that belong to it. Hover over a chart and click Add to export the data from that chart to your Sheet.

5. The Sheet gets populated with the selected charts' data.

NOTE: The data will fill a tab titled “Amplitude [DO NOT EDIT]” that you can find at the bottom of your screen.

6. Use the Manage tab to refresh or delete selected charts from the sheet.

Amplitude Sync to Slides

1. Once the extension is installed, you should be able to find “Amplitude Sync to Drive and Sheets” under Extensions in your Google Slides. Click Start Exporting Amplitude Data.

2. Follow steps 2-4 mentioned above (Amplitude Sync to Sheets section) to sign into your Google Slides instance and give Amplitude access to your Google Slides.

3. Now, you can select which Organization to import data from and a list of charts that belong to it. Hover over a chart and click Add to add a snapshot of that chart to your Slides.

4. The Slides get populated with the selected charts' snapshots (1 chart per slide).

NOTE: Charts with a lot of data might take a while to export.

5. Use the Manage tab to refresh or delete selected charts from the Slides.
