The Experiment Analysis chart is an extension of Amplitude's Experiment product, which allows you to conduct A/B tests on your user base to unearth insights on ways you can improve the product experience. It's based on Experiment's analysis component, which you can read about in this Help Center article.
This chart lets you extend Experiment's analytical capabilities in several ways, particularly through segmenting the results of your experiments. By doing so, you can dig deeper into the behaviors of specific sub-groups of your user base and see if any of them respond differently to product changes. Uncovering these differences can help you customize experiences for users in ways that have noticeable effects on conversion, retention, and other common business objectives.
To segment the results of your experiment, click + where next to your success metric. Then choose the event or user properties you want to segment on. For example, maybe you’d like to see how users of a specific browser type reacted to your experiment—just choose “Browser family” and specify the value (in this example, which browser family) you want to see data for.
You can also do this individually for each individual variant.
Take some time to experiment with the Experiment Analysis chart. See what insights you turn up.
